From the founding of the winery, the owners always had a clear idea and understanding that the vineyards’ favorable and natural conditions are important but sometimes could not just be enough. The passion for its land, the respect for the environment, and constant technologic advancement has brought Vaccaro wine excellent results with success in national and international markets. Most of the vines were planted in 1985. The grape variety cultivated today are, as follows: Nero d’Avola, Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah and Sangiovese etc. The microclimate is influenced by the Belice River which makes the temperatures low and allow a slow and perfect grape maturation.
