Everything began in 1920, when Manlio Mergè starts his production of wine and oil. The most recent of Lazio's denominations, includes one of the most important historical territories, from ancient wine traditions and from the mineral strength of the earth shaped by the Latium Volcano. Poggio le Volpi means: Values for the tradition, passion for innovation and the winemaking experimentation, and ampelographic richness og the land.
