Zidarich winery locates in Friuli. The Carso is the Seoul of the winery, which is stone shaped by time. From the eroded limestone rock comes the small amount of red soil. The seeds of the plants that migrate from East to West, carried by the wind, have left their mark in this narrow strip of land nestled between the sea and the hills. Here man used what he was given able to cultivate the stone. Benjamin Zidarich, the winemaker, thinks The Carso is his life and work, as well as is his land. It represents who he is, what he does and how he thinks. He believes in tradition and the calling of the earth. He produces wines naturally, according the concept of "vini veri" or real wines. Orange wine is a traditional method of making white wine letting the juice keep contact with the grape skins while the white wine ferments–a practice is typically reserved for red wines only.
