An grand Sinodrink Wine Festival is opened at[started in] the Westin Bund Center Shanghai on 30th June 2009
The festival with the theme of ‘Zero Distance with Italy wine’,which gather over 300 kinds of special wine in all of wine regions from Italy, and it’s also many wineries first show in China. The activity was sponsored by SinoDrink and undying supported by Consulate General of Italy (Sh.)& The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade.
This Festival is grand, and 12 wineries owners attend this festival, including GENAGRICOLA(the most famous wineries Tenuta S.Anna from six), VINEA(Veneto), CASTELLARE DI CASTELLINA （Toscana), Masciarelli （Abruzzo）、VILLA MATILDE、Leone De Castris（Puglia）、Velenosi（Marche），Grappa Bepi Tosolini（Friuli），Monte Schiavo、PARADISO and ITALESSE。
Opening ceremony started at 14:15. Mr. Liu Qiang, chairman of SinoDrink (Edward Liu) made a passionate speech at the beginning. Consul General of Italy, Mr. Massimo Roscigno, Chairman of Italian Trade Commission, Mr. Maurizio Forte both attended and congratulated and alos gave full recognition and appreciation. Mr. Piero Totis of GENAGRICOLA and Mr. Alberto Cracco of VENIA both made passionate speeches.
Although the day was pouring, but there were still more than 500 customers from Shanghai restaurants and other important guests arrived , including Starwoods Hotels Group, InterContinental Hotels Group , Hyatt Hotels Group, Mr. Su Seafood Group, Va Bene , PORSCHE club, Bilancioni top fashion and other Chinese and foreign hotels, upscale restaurants, clubs and luxury goods, and other famous entrepreneurs or representatives and dozens of well-known medias.
This is a never experienced experience of Italian wine for wine and food lovers ; is also the Chinese-Italian food and cultural exchange pageant; is a party with many Italian top wineries without going abroad ; is memorable Italian food and wine feast.
