Third Global Italian Food Week

In celebration of the Third Global Italian Food Week, the Food Night, hosted by the Beijing Delegation of the Italian Food Institute, was held on November 23 at the residence of the Italian Embassy in Beijing. About 30 guests had the privilege of tasting elaborate dishes prepared by Ms. Cristina Bowerman, Michelin star chef, Mr. Frank Hao, General Manager of Tavola Restaurant in Beijing, and staff, as well as a variety of fine Italian wines offered by SinoDrink.
When all the guests were seated, Mr. Su Jieao, President of Beijing Delegation of the Italian Food Institute, announced the formal start of the dinner with the traditional bell-ringing action of the Food Institute. Then, Ambassador Xie Guoyi made a brief speech to welcome the guests.
